Mary Lombrana

Mary De Leon Lombraa was promoted to Glory on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her home in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born on July 29, 1947, in San Angelo, Texas to Felipe De Leon and Susie Jesusita Dominguez Canales De Leon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Hernandez Lombraa, father and mother Felipe and Susie, and stepfather Narcisso Leaton, Sr., sisters Enedina Howard and Myra de la Garza, and brothers Alexander De Leon and Jesse Salazar.

She is survived by three sons Henry Lombran771a Jr. of Houston, TX, Richard Lombran771a Cherie of Columbus, OH, David Lombraa Sarah of Clovis, NM, two daughters, Brenda Rodriguez Marc of San Antonio, TX, Terri Aranda Mark of Clovis, NM. Her sisters Adele Gonzalez of Albuquerque, NM and Lamar Leaton of Seattle, WA, brother Narcisso Leaton Jr. of San Angelo, TX and fifteen grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren.

She married Henry Hernandez Lombraa October 20, 1962 in San Angelo, TX and was married to him for 45 years until his death and most recently having been married to Frank A. Mitchell.
Mary moved with her family from San Angelo, TX to Hobbs, NM in 1974 where she worked as the office manager for Tooties Homeowned Supermarket for 23 years, retiring in 1999. Most recently, Mary worked for 10 years as a Family Service Coordinator for the Salvation Army Clovis, NM Corps Community Center

During her lifetime she served as a GEDESL instructor at Hobbs High School, Boy Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader, she was a faithful member of Legacy Life Family Church and throughout her Christian life she served as an interim pastor, church secretary and treasurer, greeter, altar ministry, choir, missionary to Mexico and Honduras, Sunday School Teacher, Lay Ministry, and Jail Ministry. She was an active member of the local United Way. She served the local Salvation Army as a member of the Emergency Response Team, cocoordinator of the annual Salvation Army Angel Tree and Thanksgiving Meal distributions, leader of the Weekly Womens Group, and coordinator of the Food Pantry and Commodity Distribution.

Marys hobbies included spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, yard work, traveling throughout the United States, cooking, reading, and shopping. Mary was a most generous person and always made an effort to serve the needy and to witness to others.

One of her favorite Bible verses was Psalms 119: 105 Thy word is lamp unto my feet and light unto my path.

There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 and a Funeral Service on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., both at Legacy Life Family Church, 622 N. Main Clovis, NM. The Reverend Dr. David Lombran771a, and Reverend Peter Jaramillo will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mark Aranda, Marc Rodriguez, Ricky Muoz, Jia Lombraa, Antonio Rios, and John Trujillo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the local Salvation Army Food Pantry, Clovis, NM Corps Community Center, 317 E. 2nd Street
