Mary Rando

Mary “Helen” Rando, 72, of Clovis, passed away on September 12, 2022 in Clovis.

A visitation will be held on September 14, 2022 at 3 pm in the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel.

Helen was born in Santa Rosa to Lucy & Faustin Lujan on March 11, 1950 in Clovis. She attended Clovis Community College to receive her CNA certification. She worked as an ESL teacher for 12 years at Wamsley Elementary in Rifle, CO. After she retired from there, she moved back to Clovis, NM and worked as a sales associate for Zales Corporation for over 20 years. In retirement, she spent her days painting, working on puzzles, and embroidery.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy & Faustin Lujan and sister, Becky Baca.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Rando (Doug Anderson), and Josie Rosa (Seth Rosa); brothers, Bobby Lujan of Albuquerque, NM; Dario Lujan of Portales, NM; Thomas Lujan of Santa Fe, NM; and sisters, Nora Garcia of Albuquerque, NM; and Marianna Baca of Portales, NM. She is also survived by three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends in New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas.
