Mary JoAnn Zeffer
On July 5, 2014 JoAnn Zeffer 86 was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom she loved and served very well. JoAnn was an only child born to Mr. Mrs. Scott. JoAnn was born on June 18, 1928, in Eudora Arkansas. JoAnn was a C.N.A. and worked in several rest homes before retiring. Her hobbies was sewing, and fishing. JoAnn was such an inspiration to, and has had a tremendous impact on everyone she has met. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, She Served in many offices in the church. She always had a smile that would light the darkest room, the love and compassion she had for people was infectious. The love she showed inspires us to be better people, to love deeper, and to laugh more often. She was a dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother. We have the assurance and deep comfort that JoAnn is at home with her Father in Heaven and walks daily with Jesus. She married the love of her life Elmer Zeffer on August 19, 1952.They were blessed to share 61 years together. JoAnn also leaves behind two sons Mr. Mrs. Steven John Leach of England Mr. Mrs. Elmer Dwyane Zeffer of Arkansas. Also six Grandchildren six Great Grandchildren.
Services for JoAnn will be Saturday July 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at Bethlehem Baptist Church 104 Calhoun Clovis N.M. with Rev, Anthony Mahan officiating. Pallbearers Deacon Lewis Foster, Deacon Fredrick Johnson, Deacon Kevin Cass, Deacon Tommy Johnson, Bro, David Blackman, Bro, Jeremy Fisher, and Bro, Kenneth Chretien. Arrangements are under Steed Todd Funeral Home 800 E. Manana Blvd. Clovis N.M. 88101.
