Mattie went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2012.

A resident of Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation, she had been a resident of the Melrose area all of her married life. She married Frank Crenshaw on July 22, 1932.

Born Mattie May Grimlan on April 14, 1916 to W.Y. and Ellen Gray Grimlan, in the community of Vivan, near Crowell, Foard County, Texas. Mattie was the ninth of thirteen children of the family. The family moved to the Elida area, where Mattie attended school.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Crenshaw son: Don Crenshaw her parents and five brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by one son: Darrell Crenshaw of Melrose daughter Lynetta and husband Jacky Gorden of Melrose eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren one sister: Jo Dell Conner of Artesia, New Mexico, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Melrose Cemetery with Brother Durward Wofford, officiating.
