Mrs. Crow was a registered nurse for many years and was known to go out of her way to give great personal care with compassion. She taught Sunday School for many years and anytime someone in her class had a baby she made a Bassenette as a gift. She was the Outstanding Citizen of Melrose in 1973, and was the Grand Marshal at the Old Timers Day Parade in Melrose in 2000.
