Michael Slagowski

On Tuesday, 29 September, we lost our son, brother, fiancé, and friend, Michael Paul Slagowski. He passed away quietly at home with only his fiancé present. He was born on a rainy 23rd day of June in 1965 and grew up in the small town of Stevens Point Wisconsin. At the age of 21 he moved out to Colorado to be with his mother and brother. He married his wife, Valerie and son Jared celebrated the birth of a son who was too soon to be lost to SIDS. He moved back to Wisconsin to take care of his father. After his father passed away, he moved to Clovis, New Mexico, again to be with family. He only lived in Clovis for 8 years but he made many friends and work associates. We will miss him and his infectious smile.

He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel, his father, Edward and his grandparents on both sides of the family. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Davenport of Camelote, Belize, his step-father, William Davenport of Camelote, Belize, his brother, James Slagowski of Clovis, his fiancé, Tina Bogay of Clovis and his many friends and co-workers.

Services will be at the AmVets at 2 pm, Sunday October 18th.
