Miguel Dodge Sr.

Miguel Mike Dodge Sr., 85, passed away on November 17, 2010 with his family at his side. Miguel was born on September 29, 1925 to Andres and Mariana Madrid Dodge in Puerto De Luna, New Mexico. He served in the Navy in WWII and was honorably discharged in January of 1946. In 1946 he married Guadalupe Garcia Dodge in Puerto De Luna, New Mexico. After her passing he then married Rita Armijo Dodge on February 1, 1964 and she passed away on October 11, 2005. He retired from El Rancho Feed in Clovis, NM, where he worked as a laborer. He enjoyed dancing gardening, baking and he cherished his time with each of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons Michael Patsy Dodge, Clovis, NM George Karen Dodge, Clovis, NM David Sandy Dodge, Dephew, OK Terry Dodge, Tulsa, OK Ruben Tamara Dodge, Princeton, IN Tommy Victoria Montoya, Clovis, NM his daughters Martina Freddy Garcia, Littleton, CO JoAnn Raymond Lasater, Tulsa, OK Loretta Andy Garduno, Irving, TX Margaret Tommy Lopez, Clovis, NM one sister Alice Sena, Clovis, NM one brotherinlaw Carlos Armijo, Tulsa, OK 62 grandchildren 52 greatgrandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2:00p.m. in the SteedTodd Chapel, 800 E Manana Blvd., Clovis, New Mexico. A second rosary will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 117 Davis St., Clovis, NM. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Pall bearers will be his sons Michael Dodge, George Dodge, David Dodge, Terry Dodge, Ruben Dodge, Tommy Montoya, Lawrence Lopez, and T.J. Lopez. Honorary Pall Bearers will be all of his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
