Mildred Mote

Mildred O Mote, 88 of Broadview, NM, passed away at her home surrounded by family.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Grady, NM. Burial will follow at Grady Cemetery.

Mildred Mote was born November 22, 1927 in Bard, NM to the late Ezra Blain and Dolly (Starkey) Burton. She married Hobart Mote on May 16, 1942 in Tucumcari, NM. Together they moved to Grady in 1956 and in 1965, they moved to Broadview.

Mildred was an artist, enjoying painting and crafting ceramics in Grady. While in Tucumcari, she was a baker's assistant. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grady.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Keith Mote, 2 brothers; Norman and Cloyd, and an infant sister, Vada Allene.

She is survived by 2 sons; Larry Mote and wife Nancy of Portales and Doug Mote and wife Nellie of Broadview, one sister, Elsie Wiseman of Logan and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
