Misti Yarbrough - Parmer

Misti Dawn Yarbrough-Parmer, 40, of Portales, NM entered the gates of Heaven on September 8, 2021, while in the care of UNM Hospital.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10am on September 25 ^th , 2021, at Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis, NM. Reverend Glenda Taylor of Living Stones Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM.

Misti was the first of four girls born on June 20 ^th , 1981, to Gerald Allan and Ruth Yarbrough in Fort Stockton, Texas. Misti graduated in 1999 from Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, NM. Misti worked as scheduler at the Med Clinic on Clovis Airforce Base before her passing. On July 19th, 2002, Misti’s first love entered her life, her daughter Jaclyn Paige Yarbrough. On October 9 ^th , 2004, Allisyn Faith Yarbrough, her second (but equal) love was born. Misti loved to watch movies, spend time with her family and enjoyed the outdoors, especially swimming and camping. Misti was kind, hardworking, and humble. As the oldest of four daughters, she took care of all her sisters and acted as a mediator and very close confidant; always full of sound advice and never one to judge. Misti was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend; her absence will leave a void in all that loved her.

Misti is preceded in death by her aunt Annie Lankford.

Misti is survived by her daughters Jaclyn and Allisyn Yarbrough, husband Austin Parmer, stepson Corey Parmer, granddaughter Evelyn Gutierrez, sisters Allana Nicole Bever, Amy Encinias and husband Brian, Lauren Yarbrough and fiancé Mike Potter, and parents Allan & Ruthie Yarbrough, Grandmother Mary Anne Alexander, Grandfather John Alexander and wife Darlene, father-in-law and mother-in-law Dave and Debbie Parmer, Cousin Kayla DeAnda, niece America Balzano and nephews Gaven Olsen, Skyler & Landen Fedric and Avery Encinias.

Pallbearers will be Corey Parmer, Skyler Fedric, Gaven Olson, Mike Potter, Charles Piaz, DeeDon Bates and honorary pallbearer Landen Fedric.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to UNM Hospital Trauma/Neurosciences ICU staff, Living Word Church and all friends and family that have supported us during this difficult time.
