Mittie Eva Killingsworth was born July 25, 1920 and passed on August 21, 2024 at the age of 104 years.
Eva was born in Vaughn, New Mexico to the late John F. May and the late Mittie Ursula Meneley May. She was saved at 20 years old and was a member of Lakeside Assembly of God, where she was known as a true prayer warrior. The children at her church loved her as much as the adults.
She retired from Gibson Departments store. After retirement she was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She always remembered the dates of each grandchild's birthday and loved to send and receive greeting cards. Her family was her main priority and she called and made an effort to keep-up with each of them.
Eva was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers; two husbands: James Joseph Rogers and "Doc" Killingsworth; a daughter, Darlene Smith; and a grandson, D. J. Smith.
Survivors include two children: Jimmie H. Rogers (Phyllis) and Nancy Strmiska; and twelve grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
Visitation is 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
