Nancy Wilkins

Nancy Jane Wilkins age 61 of Clovis passed away on Monday, May 12, 2008 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born May 23, 1946 in Clovis to Alex and Audrey Carmain Wilkins. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1965 and went to business school in Lubbock at the Draughns School of Business. She returned to Clovis and went to work as a bookkeeper for Collie Rodgers. She later went to work for Dr. Paddy Padmanabhan in Clovis as a Clerical Secretary. After Dr. Paddy moved she worked at the Senior Resident Center and was currently working at Walmart in Clovis. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church a member of the Claude Extension Club, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a very caring and loving person, enjoyed needle craft and loved her dogs.

She is survived by her husband Bill Johnson of Clovis; two brothers John Wilkins and wife Joyce of Mineral Wells, Texas; Ken Wilkins and wife Nancy of Clovis; two nieces Lyndsey Wilkins of Clovis; Shari Dalton of Mineral Wells, Texas; one nephew David Wilkins of Mineral Wells, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Steed Todd Chapel with Rev. Lance Clemmons and Rev. David Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be John Frerichs, Bob Jordan, Gary Elliott, Brian Elliott, Brent Elliott, and Rocky Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Holland, and Kay Harmon. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association 525 San Pedro NE Suite 101 Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108.
