Naomia Gunn

Naomia Gunn, 82, of Forrest, New Mexico, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at her home. She was born September 3, 1926 in McAlister, New Mexico to Thomas Alberta Sprinkle Terry.

She was raised in McAlister where she also went to school. She married Jack Gunn July 10, 1945 in Clovis, New Mexico. After her marriage she moved to the Forrest Community and farmed with her husband.

She is survived by three sons, Teke Gunn and Jimmy Joe Gunn both of the home in Forrest; Don Gunn Eyvonne of Forrest; 2 daughters, Jacqueline Scott Mike of Farmington, New Mexico and Vicki Aldridge Don of Lewisville, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 1 brother, T. C. Terry; 3 sisters, Anita Poteet, Roberta Lee and Ruby Atkins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Beevers Cemetery in Forrest.
