Natalie Hankins

Natalie Brooke Hankins, age 23, of Clovis, NM passed away on March 4, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

Brooke was born on March 9, 1990 to Mike and Gena Hankins in Clovis, NM. She attended Clovis Schools and graduated from Clovis High School in 2008. She loved the color yellow, dancing, Mickey Mouse, Wildcat Basketball, music, spending time with family and birthday parties. Brooke was an honorary firefighter in the Clovis Fire Department and she took part in Special Olympics.

Brooke is survived by her parents: Mike and Gena Hankins of the home two grandmothers: Fern Ice of Clovis, NM and Pat Blackburn Keith of Friona, TX two great grandmothers: Ann Barker and Juanita Wright, both of Friona, TX uncles and aunts: Joe and Jatonna Hankins of Clovis, NM, Rick and Vera Hankins of Edgewood, NM, Betts and Bob Berry of Spokane, WA and Kirk and Leslie Wright of Friona, TX and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by three grandfathers: Sam Hankins, Gene Wright and Frank Ice.

Funeral services are at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 21st Street Church of Christ in Clovis with Rick Hankins officiating and Larry Tittle assisting. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis. Pallbearers are Ricky Mitchell, Mike Bridges, Jose Gutierrez, Garrett Nash, Rusty Radloff, Weldon Kube, Steve Garcia and Bart Bronniman. Honorary pallbearers are Special Olympic athletes.
