Neil Sanders

Neil Sanders, 52 of Clovis, passed away on Friday, July, 10, 2015 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mission Gardens Cemetery in Clovis.

Neil was born on September 9, 1962 in the Bronx, NY. His parents were career Air Force so they traveled throughout the US. He spent 3 years in Okinawa Japan. Neil became a Christian at age 5 and proceeded to tell everyone about Jesus. He enjoyed traveling and made friends at every town they lived. In 1974, they settled in Clovis, NM.
Neil graduated from Clovis High School and attended Clovis Community College and ENMU. At ENMU, he met Melissa Hill. They married after her graduation. Neil managed Domino's for 12 years and was currently employed at Contemporary Benefits. "One Child Matters" was a favorite charity and helped many children. Neil, however, never let a need go unattended. He generously gave of his heart every chance that God supplied him.

Neil is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Sanders of Clovis, his sister, Jene Sanders and his biological father, Ray Tromblee. His father and mother in-law: Steve and Ginger Hill. His sister and brother in-laws: Tim and Celeste, Ashley and Kevin, and Michele Schaffer, and his eight nieces and nephews: Travis, Josh, Connor, Hunter, Lauren, Elise, Ethan, and Madalyn.

Pallbearers will be Mike Conover, Travis Ashley, Joshua Ashley, Connor Ashley, Larry Whitlock, Kurt Sena, Mike Staton and Derek Cockrell.

In lieu of flowers, please send gifts to New Mexico Christian Children's Home in Portales, NM.
