Neill Sabins

Neill L. Sabins, age 82, of Plainview, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on April 12, 1928 to Fred and Ruth Miller Sabins in Gage, Montana.

Neill married Eyvonne D. Sandvig on September 13, 1952, in Billings, Montana, and was a Clovis resident since 1960. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1969, he worked for Clovis Schools as a Custodian. Neill and Eyvonne moved to Plainview, Texas to be close to family.

He is survived by three sons, Rocky Donette Sabins of Plainview, Texas, Fred Terri Sabins of Houston, Texas and Jody Elizabeth Sabins of Plainview, Texas one daughter, Colleen Bruce McKenzie of Albuquerque, New Mexico twelve grandchildren three greatgrandchildren and one sister, Norma Moore of Nashville, Tennessee.

Neill is preceded in death by his wife parents two brothers, Wayne and King Sabins two sisters, Innis and Lois and one granddaughter, Christy.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico, with Pastor Alan McAlister officiating, and military honors by Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard.
