Nellie Snelson

Nellie Snelson, age 83, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on July 27, 2012 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico.

Nellie was born on March 31, 1929 to Ralph S. and Lucille L. Miller Rhoades in Hugo, Colorado. She grew up in Joplin, Missouri and moved to Clovis in 1962. She married Billy D. Snelson on May 13, 1967 in Juarez, Mexico. Nellie was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Billy, of the home one son Roy Jackson and his wife Terri of Abilene, Texas one daughter: Susie Wheeler of Amarillo, Texas three grand children: LeighAnne Daniel Salcedo, Shellie Aaron Williams and Marney Wheeler and four great grandchildren.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents one grandson: Shannon Jackson and one son in law: Joe Frank Wheeler.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a. m. on Monday, July 30 2012 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico with Roy Jackson officiating.
