Nina Luckett

Nina Lonetta Luckett, 105, of Clovis died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She was born February 12, 1902 in Fort Scott, Kansas. She married Howard L. Luckett, July 25, 1925 in Albuquerque, NM.

Mrs. Luckett moved to Clovis in 1925. She had worked as a telephone operator, cook in a rest home, and owned and operated a grocery store on West 7th in Clovis. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Howard Vaughn Laura Luckett of Cloudcroft, NM; two daughters, Betty Ruth Wood of Inglewood, CO, and Mary Jane John Noller of Puyallup, WA; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1993, a daughter, Orchid Mae Hunton Feeler, seven brothers, and four sisters.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday May 9, 2007 at Central Baptist Church in Clovis with Rev. Dick Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
