Nola Gunnells

Nola Dean Gunnells age 76 of Clovis passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born November 24, 1935 in Clovis to Ralph and Pauline Vaughn Lofton. Nola grew up in Clovis were she married Charles Gunnells July 5, 1952 in Rose Dale, New Mexico. She remained in Clovis until Charles moved with the Air Force. They returned to Clovis in 1975 and remained here until her passing. She was a member of Rose Dale Methodist Church, and attended Forrest Heights Baptist and First United Methodist in Clovis she loved Elvis Presly music, reading and was a homemaker.

Nola is survived by her loving husband Charles Gunnells of Clovis one son Paul Dean Gunnells of Farwell, Texas daughter Cheryl L. Gunnells of Rio Rancho, New Mexico brothers Donald K. Lofton of Maryville, TN Tommy D. Lofton of Bellview, NM and James R. Lofton of Curry County, NM and three grandsons.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hollene Cemetery in Hollene, New Mexico.
