Nora Ortiz

Nora B Ortiz, age 84, of Clovis, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Retirement Ranch. She was born on May 23, 1926 in Delia, New Mexico, to Paulito and Sefarina Sanchez Baca.

She was a housewife and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis.

Nora is survived by six daughters, Betty Pullings Bob of Clovis, Clara Cardoza Ismael of Arlington, TX, Rebecca Delgado Raymond of Springtown, TX, Lupe Acosta Winston of Amarillo, TX, Cynthia Martinez Jose of Texico, NM, and June Orozco of Clovis two sons, Freddie Ortiz of Texico, and Billy Ortiz of Clovis one brother, V.J. Baca of Santa Fe, NM three sisters, Stella Allarid of Santa Rosa, NM, Merlinda Sandoval of Anton Chico, NM, and Emelia Duran of Albuquerque, NM 34 grandchildren 37 greatgrandchildren and four greatgreatgrandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents her husband, Gilbert Ortiz two daughters, Anna Garcia and Corrine Ortiz one son, Moses Ortiz a grandson, Troy Cunningham two brothers, Ismael Mel Baca and Pablito Baca and one greatgrandson, Luke Fierro.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at SteedTodd Chapel, and a Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Sotero Sena officiating and Deacon Bob Pullings assisting. Pallbearers will be Noras grandchildren. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery.
