Norma Townsend

Norma Lee Townsend age 83 formally of Clovis, New Mexico passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 in Ruidoso, New Mexico at Lincoln County Medical Center. She was born August 16, 1927 in Ranchvale, New Mexico to Sam E. and Victoria P. Stewart Lockmiller. Norma lived her entire life in the Clovis and Ranchvale areas. She graduated from Ranchvale High School and was the owner operator of Cannon Moving Storage in Clovis. She was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church.

Norma is survived by her Daughter Janice and her husband Jerry Wilson of Ruidoso, New Mexico one sister Margery Preston of Clovis two brothers N.B. Perky Lockmiller of Clovis, New Mexico and Sterling Lockmiller of Ranchvale, New Mexico numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Cleovis Lee and Richard Townsend, her parents, one son Rudy Lee, one sister Etoy House, two brothers Winford Lockmiller and Tootie Lockmiller.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Steed Todd Chapel with Rev. David Bachelor officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
