Odell Edge

Odell Edge, age 70 of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Odell was born on January 5, 1943 in Mountainair, New Mexico to Garlan Edge, Sr. and Nadine Bratcher Edge. He married Alma Allene Talley on November 30, 1963 in Oklahoma Lane, Texas. Odell was a master mechanic all of his life. He loved fishing, camping, helping people and teaching mechanics. He enjoyed his grandkids and shooting guns. Odell was a member of the Mounted Patrol in Tucumcari from 1977 through 1979. He was also a foster parent at one time and he loved his foster kids very much.

Odell is survived by his wife, Allene Edge of the home two daughters: Tammy Walker Rocky of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Betty Massey Kenneth of Clovis, New Mexico one son: Jimmy Edge Anita of Rio Rancho, New Mexico ten grandchildren three great grandchildren and four sisters: Corrine Mouloff, Caroline Harrison, Wilma Miller and Dorothy Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ernie Edge.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in the SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico with Garlan Hughes, officiating. Inurnment will follow at Texico Cemetery in Texico, New Mexico.
