Ola Curry

Ola Lee Huguley Curry, 90, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and greatgreat grandmother passed away on 12 October 2010 at Plains Regional Medical Center Hospital in Clovis, NM.

Ola was born on June 13, 1920 in the Sunshine Community of Hale County, TX. She is survived by sons: James Hulsey and Sherrell Grimes of Las Cruces, NM and Edward and Maggi Hulsey of Longview, TX: daughter Patsy and Royce Lorenz of Clovis, NM: brothers AG and Mildred Huguley of Olton, TX and Marvin and Mary Huguley of Clovis, NM.

Six grandchildren, Randall and Linda Hulsey of Colorado Springs, CO Melinda and Kevin Dennis of Pahrump, NV Edward and Susan Hulsey of Colleyville TX Suzanne Pirhala of Dallas, TX Melody and Don McLaughlin of Bedford, TX Alfred and Yolanda Penland of Tucson, AZ step grandsons, Royce Jr. and Christen Lorenz of MI Brian Lorenz of Childress, TX Victor and Sandra Lorenz of Chicago IL. Chad Lorenz: 9 great grandchildren, Brian and Sabrina Hulsey Caitlin Swale Matthew Hulsey Joshua Hulsey Caleb Hulsey Steven Pirhala Brittany and Alex Magee Sterling Hulsey Haleigh Trobaugh Nathan Penland one greatgreat grandson, Aidan Hulsey and one greatgreat grandchild expected and many nieces and nephews.

Ola worked most of her life as a seamstress and licensed dry cleaner. Olas life was centered about family and her love of Jesus Christ. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clovis. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Intl. sorority serving as Parliamentarian and held a first degree Pallas Athene and would have received her 5 year pin in November.

A celebration of Olas life will be held Saturday, October 16th at 10:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Clovis. Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M. CST at Halfway Texas family cemetery.

Pall Bearers are LeRoyce Kersh, Daryl Huguley, John Huguley, Rick Huguley, Don Brumfield and Daniel Vaughn. Honorary pall bearers are all of Olas grandchildren, great grandchildren, and greatgreat grandchildren and her Beta Phi sorority Sisters.
