Pablo Maes

Pablo Epimenio Maes, age 77, of Clovis, New Mexico entered into rest on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born on August 24, 1935 in Willard, New Mexico to the home of Epimenio Maes and Eloisa Gallegos.

Pablo was a longtime business owner of Maes Roofing Co. in Clovis. He liked fishing and just riding around Clovis, but most of all, spending time with his family whom he loved very much. He was a member of the Builders Trust Association and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Maes of the home his children, Paul Maes, Jr. Pam, Steve Maes Loretta, Orlando Maes Frieda, Janet Valdez Troy, Virginia Ortiz, Estella Abeyta, Ruby Maes, Bonnie Cordova Jimmy, Daniel A. Maes Estella, Manuel R. Black Victoria, Cathy Skaggs Keven, and Barbara Meadows Hank one sister, Rosie Chavez brothers, Jose Maes, and Margarito Maes sisters in law, Veva Ortiz Anacleto, Libby Aragon, Georgia Munoz brothers in law, David Aragon, Bill Aragon, Jim Aragon, and Mikle Aragon 32 grandchildren 53 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Epimenio and Eloisa Maes one son, Ray Maes brothers, E. G. Maes, Isidro Maes, Ford Maes and sisters, Carolina, Lola, and Amilia.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Daniel Chavez, officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Serving as Casket Bearers will be, Paul Maes, Jr., Steve Maes, Orlando Maes, Manuel Black, Ricky Cordova, Daniel Maes, Mac Lovato, Jon Meade, and Aaron Sena.

Revelation 21:34 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
