Patricia Cain

Patricia Pat Cain, age 77, of Farwell, TX, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

Services will be at 10:00 AM CST on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Farwell Baptist Church in Farwell, TX with Russ Ponder officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM CST on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Snyder Cemetery in Snyder, TX.

Pat was born March 31, 1936 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She graduated from Amarillo High School and married Weldon Cain in 1955. They moved to Snyder, TX where they remained until 1960. From there, they moved to various places in the ClovisTexico area until 1980 and then returned to Snyder, TX. Pat left Snyder in 2012 and returned to the FarwellTexico area after a brief stay in Broken Bow, OK. Pat worked as assistant manager of KMart until her retirement. She was a very talented baker and cook and it showed in the dishes she prepared for family and friends. Pat was very devoted to her Lord, her family, and friends, she was very generous with her time in helping others.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon, a son, Larry, and her mother, Ruth Alls.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Honshiko and soninlaw Jeff of Amarillo, TX, a son, Randy Cain and daughterinlaw Elaine of Texico, NM, a son Ricky Cain and daughterinlaw Sherry of Farwell, TX, a daughter, Pam Jackson of Broken Bow, OK, a son Gary Cain and daughterinlaw Melissa of Midland, TX, a son David Cain and daughterinlaw Alisa of Midland, TX, two sisters, Debbie Bishop and Sharon Evans both of Amarillo, TX, a sisterin law, Anita Cain of Lake Conchas, NM, brotherinlaw Al Stiller of Seattle, WA, many nieces and nephews, seventeen grandchildren and twentythree great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 5 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Steed Todd funeral home in Clovis, NM.
