Paul Chavez

Paul Chavez, 66, passed away peacefully at his home May 2nd 2021, surrounded by his sons after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 26, 1954 in Clovis, NM to Elfego and Domitilia Chavez. Paul prided himself on his service to this country through the U.S. Army where he served as a tank mechanic. Paul loved nothing more than to be working with his hands, whether it be woodworking, tinkering with cars with his sons or roofing. His sense of humor made everyone smile and he dedicated his life to his family and close friends.

He is survived by his sons Barry (Burch), Edward and Mark Chavez, his twin Pauline(Daniel) Griego, brothers and sisters Seferina Torres, Mike Chavez, Barbara Barela-Nunez, Priscilla(Frank) Hernandez Aragon, George Chavez, Rosemary Vandover, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elfego and Domitilia Chavez, his beloved wife Sherlyn Chavez, his brother Luis Chavez and his grandson Mark Chavez Jr.
