Paul Sandoval

Paul J. Sandoval, age 81, of Clovis, NM, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 23, 2013 in Clovis, NM.

Paul was born on March 23, 1932 in Santa Rosa, NM to Benito Sandoval, Jr. and Irene Lopez Sandoval. He married Becky Cordova on January 4, 1951 in Santa Rosa, NM. Paul was a longtime Clovis resident and was the proud owner of Pauls Upholstery for over fifty years. He served in the United States Army, was a member of the American Legion and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis.

Paul is survived by his wife, Becky, of the home one daughter: Gloria Nick Dodge of Albuquerque, NM one son Benny Amelia Sandoval of Clovis, NM one son, adopted by love: Tony Rose Romero of Clovis, NM and one sister: Maida Al Baca of Albuquerque, NM grandchildren: Paula Albert Kwan, Leslie Robert Brewer, Maja Sandoval and Paul Sandoval, Jr. and great grandchildren: Breanna Kwan, Logan Brewer, Isabella Brewer and Jayden Kos.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis, NM. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis, NM with Father Carlos Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM. Pallbearers are Paul Sandoval, Tony Romero, Albert Kwan, Robert Brewer, Ryan Kos and Onofre Cordova. Honorary pallbearers are all of Pauls friends.
