Pearl Miller

alignjustify Pearl Alene Miller, 85, of Clovis died Friday, June 15, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born June 25, 1921 in Texola, Oklahoma to Roy K. and Gussie LeMond Mitchell

alignjustify Mrs. Miller was a long time resident of Clovis and Portales. She was a housekeeper at Eastern New Mexico University and at the original Retirement Ranch. She loved crocheting, quilting and playing bingo. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Baxter-Curren Hall and the Shuffleboard Club.

alignjustify She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Dennis McDowell, Patsy Gary Acuff both of Clovis, and Gail Greg Hankins of Eastman, Georgia; three sons, Cleotis Wilma Davis of Lawton, OK, Cliff Davis, and Joe Anna Davis both of T or C, NM; one brother, James Mitchell of Clovis; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, A. D. Bill Miller, and three brothers, Homer, Fred, and Akard Mitchell.

alignjustify Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Portales Cemetery.
