Peggy Carlson

Services for Peggy L. Carlson age 54 of Clovis will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prince Street Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Boydstun officiating. Burial will follow at the Floyd Cemetery in Floyd, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Cliff Lincoln, Deuce Cooper, Rick DePew, Cameron Canaday, Mike Smith, and Jonathan Canaday. Peggy was born August 6, 1954 in Portales, New Mexico to Jim and Helen Stidham Pearson. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1972 and married Dan Carlson December 8, 1973 in Clovis. She worked in the medical field for the hospital, Associated Physicians, and was currently the assistant office manager for the Womens Medical Center for the past 19 years. Peggy enjoyed playing games on the computer and enjoyed listening to country music, but mostly she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of Prince Street Baptist Church in Clovis.

Survivors include her husband Dan Carlson of Clovis; two daughters Christi Porras of Clovis; Samantha Maes of Clovis; one son Michael Shane and his wife Adela of Roswell, New Mexico; one brother Tommy Pearson of Midwest City, Oklahoma; her Mother Helen England of Clovis; two grandchildren Elicia Porras and Brayden Maes of Clovis.

She is preceded in death father, three brothers and two sisters.
