Peggy Laney-Fletcher

Peggy Laney Fletcher, 88 of Midland, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Midland, Texas.

A visitation will take place at Steed Todd Funeral Home on Thursday 25, 2015 from 5:00-7:00PM. Funeral services will be held Friday 26, 2015 at 10:30AM in Melrose at Church Of Christ with Joel Shumate officiating. Final resting place will be at Melrose Cemetery.

Peggy Pruitt was born in Clovis, New Mexico to Pat and Thelma (Beevers) Pruitt. She attended school in Melrose. She married John Laney in Melrose.
She was a faithful Christian and member of Golf Course Road Church of Christ. She worked as a dedicated Receptionist and Insurance Counselor/Clerk for Dr. Keith Oeschelager and John Alderman from 1966-1998.

Peggy is preceded in death by John Laney, Dick Fletcher and Janet Laney Glasgow.

She is survived by her children Jatonne and Larry Echeverria, John and Hollye Laney, Rick Fletcher and John Fletcher. Her three brothers Mickey, Jerry and Terry and her two sisters Alice and Tina. Her eleven grandchildren Heather, Garett, Marshall, Matt, Preston, Hannah, Shai, Cooper, Fermin, Canaan and Campbell.
Pallbearers will be Marshall, Mathew, Preston, Hannah Heather and Cooper.

Memorials may be given to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. The family of Peggy wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Midland Memorial Hospital, staff of Manor Park, all the volunteers of Home Hospice of Midland and Pastoral Staff of Golf Course Road Church of Christ. Also Henry Resources and Libby Williams.
