Phyllis List

Phyllis List, 60, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at her sisters home in Clovis. She was born April 18, 1949, in Borger, Texas to Jomax and Norma Baker Beum.

She attended graduated from Clovis High School. In her early years, she played the piano for the choirs at Gattis Junior High School and the high school. She received an Associates Degree from Clovis Community College. After she married she moved to California and went to work for a law firm and became a paralegal. She had worked for several law offices and the District Attorneys office in Clovis. She also trained show dogs.

She is survived by 2 sons, Eric Scott List of Durango, Colorado and Christopher Ian List of Queen Creek, Arizona; 2 grandchildren, Ben List of Los Angeles, California and Amber List of Queen Creek, Arizona; her mother, Norma Lewis and stepfather, Martin of Clovis; 1 sister, Melanie Beum of Clovis and 1 brother, Robert Beum of Aurora, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Steed-Todd Chapel with Pastor Darwin Speicher officiating.
