Rachel Hollings

Mother Rachel O. Hollings age 87 of Clovis passed away December 27, 2007 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born March 7, 1920 to Orange Hughes Sr. and Lillie Boyd. She was a beautician here in Clovis where she owned the first African American Beauty Salon in Clovis. She was a member of First Church of God in Christ.

She leaves behind eleven children; Asim Randolph Rezzag; Wanda McCrimmon; Fudail Leabud Rezzaq; Step-children Ruby Mattox; Sherry Otieno; Roda Parker; Raymond Hollings; Daphine Haynes; Ethel Ewing; George Hollings; Alvin Hollings. She is preceded in death by one daughter Lillie J. Dixon. Mother Hollings leaves behind all her love to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Steed-Todd Chapel with Bishop W. Charles Green officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
