Raef B. Albracht, 42, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Friday, March 30, 2007 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was born November 19, 1964 in Tulia, Texas to Ralph Evelyn Birkenfeld Albracht.
He graduated from high school in Nazareth, Texas and also graduated from Texas State Technical Institute. He married Melissa Kleman November 30, 1985 in Tulia, Texas. They lived in Tucumcari, New Mexico for a year and moved to Clovis in 1987. He had been a Snap-On dealer for 21 years. He loved to bowl and coached his son in bowling. He coached girls, which included his daughter, in basketball and softball. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He loved life and was a wonderful husband, dad and son.
He is survived by his wife Melissa Albracht of the home in Clovis; 2 sons, Tyler and Tanner Albracht both of the home in Clovis; daughter, Breann Albracht of the home in Clovis; his parents, Ralph Evelyn Albracht of Nazareth; father-in-law mother-in-law, Urban Roberta Kleman of Tulia, Texas; 2 sisters and their husbands, Stacy Wilhelm Damian of Amarillo, Texas and Shelly Huseman Mike of Tulia and numerous nieces nephews.
A Memorial Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m. CDT, Monday, April 2, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:00 a.m. CDT Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Ken Keller as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Holy Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the education fund for the Albracht children at New Mexico Bank Trust.
