Ralph E. Autrey, 92, of Texico, died on September 13, 2005 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. He was born on November 26, 1912 in Concho County, Texas to Felix and Emily Autrey.brbrHe served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Autrey married Lawana Talley on November 16, 1973 in Texico. He had been a resident of Texico since 1957 after moving from Belen. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Autrey loved to work and had been a farmer, truck driver, and in his later years he ran the Sunny Side Trailer Park. He was of the Baptist Faith.brbrHe is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Linda Allen; one step-son, Robert Hall; four brothers, Milton, F.E., Thurell, and J.C.; two sisters, Loraine and Lucille.brbrSurvivors include his wife, Lawana Autrey of the home; four daughters, Mamie Broadhurst or Texico, Karen Evans of Clovis, Lillian Banghart of Clovis, and Lena Baughn of Clovis; three sons, Ralph Autrey, Jr. of Farwell, Texas, Leland Autrey and his wife Pam of Texico, and Joel Hall of Corrales, New Mexico; two brothers, E. E. Autrey of Grants, New Mexico, and Edward Autrey of Texico; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.brbrServices will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at Steed-Todd Chapel with Rev.
