Ramon Ceniceros Solis, aged 72, went home with the Lord on June 16, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Born on February 14, 1952, in Mapimi, Durango, Mexico,
Ramon was a man whose life was a testament to his immense love and dedication to his family and friends.
Ramon's career in the construction industry spanned several decades, where he specialized in stucco work, landscaping, cement work, painting, and tile/flooring. He was not only a skilled craftsman but also a mentor, working alongside his son Juan Ramon and grandson Jasson, with whom he started a family business. His strong and admirable work ethic and the beauty he created in his projects will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was a man of many interests, with a particular passion for animals and gardening. Ramon's mornings often started in the company of his dogs and a cup of coffee, a ritual that brought him immense joy and peace. His compassion extended to all living beings, evident in his care for numerous pets and strays over the years. Ramon's garden was his sanctuary, where he spent countless hours nurturing his plants and bringing other vegetation from his job sites to cultivate in his garden.
Ramon's legacy of being family centered, kindness, compassion, care, a strong sense of strong work ethic, and humor will be carried on by his children, Juan Ramon Ceniceros Rodriguez of Clovis, NM, Jose Alonso Ceniceros Rodriguez of Durango, Mexico and Maria Loudres Ceniceros Rodriguez of Durango, Mexico; his two grandchildren, Eleny and Jasson Ceniceros De La Cruz both of Clovis, NM; and his daughter-in-law, Aida De La Cruz of Clovis, NM. He is also survived by 13 cherished dogs, now lovingly cared for by his family. Ramon was preceded in death by his beloved wife Teresa Rodriguez Soto and his daughters Maria De Los Angeles Ceniceros Rodriguez and Esmeralda Ceniceros Rodriguez.
Ramon was an admirable man of God at heart - he always spoke and reminded his family about loving and trusting in God; to remain their faith in the Lord no matter what obstacles life puts in their way, and to always rely and love on each other endlessly. Ramon was a loving and caring father to his children and daughter-in-law, a warmhearted and devoted grandfather, and a generous kindhearted friend. Ramon was a man with a huge, steady, and strong heart that guided and led him throughout his life and hardships he faced, he was a man of any skills and talent, his advice and speeches, his funny jokes, his stories, his presence, his dedicated work ethic, his hugs, his smile, and his laugh will be missed by his family.
A memorial service to celebrate Ramon's life will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Steed Todd Funeral Home, located at 800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101.
The family would like to have a private service with those who knew Ramon personally to join in honoring his memory and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those he touched.
