Randy was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Carol and Lucile Beevers on December 1,1952. He moved to Clovis, New Mexico when he was 6 months old. He started working early in life helping his dad unload the milk from the Borden milk truck. At 21, Randy joined the United States Army. He served in Alaska in motor transportation for troops. When he left the Army, he drove truck cross country for about 3 months. He then was hired at the Curry County Road Department in 1977. He loved his time and the many men and women he worked with. He retired after 25 years with the Road Department.

Randy married Linda Vaughn on March 25,1978. They have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. They have 2 children, Christi Reid and Jeremy Beevers. They have 3 grandchildren, Austin Reid, Erica Beevers, and Adrianna Beevers. They are so proud of them all.

Randy loved hunting and fishing. His favorite hunting partners were his daughter Christi, his son Jeremy and his cousin Doug Beevers.

He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was local president, state president, 4 corners regional president, and was honored to be named to the Grand Aerie Hall of Fame. He was a member of their flag folding ceremony team and memorial team.

Randy was preceded in death by his father Carol Beevers, his mother Lucile Beevers, his sister Carolyn Mogg, his brother Allen Beevers, and his cousin Doug Beevers.

Randy is survived by his wife Linda Beevers, his daughter Christi Reid, his son Jeremy (Melanie) Beevers, his grandson Austin Reid, his granddaughters Erica Beevers and Adrianna Beevers, his sister Toni (Jack) Merchant, his brother Jim (Bonnie) Beevers, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers include, Walter Beevers, Jackie Merchant, Clay Beevers, Eric Vaughn, Colt Beevers, Skylar Merchant, Don Beevers and Clinton Beevers. Honorary Pallbearers include, all Fraternal Order of Eagles brothers and sisters, all hunting and fishing buddies, and all nieces, nephews and cousins.
