Ray Allen

Ray Warren Allen, age 69 of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at his home in Clovis, New Mexico. Ray was born on April 29, 1944 in Clovis, New Mexico to Fred D. Warren Allen and Hattie Kay Smith Allen Talley. He married Gloria Lomas on April 13, 1964 in Clovis, New Mexico. Together they had four sons and one daughter. Ray was of the Baptist faith and was also an auto mechanic for fifty plus years of his life. He enjoyed hunting, cars, and collecting western memorabilia. His favorite vacation spot to visit was Tombstone, Arizona. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and was extremely partial towards his three dogs.

Ray is survived by his wife, Gloria Lomas Allen four sons: Wade Kelly Allen of Denver, Colorado Mark Ray Allen of Clovis, New Mexico Shane Allen of Clovis, New Mexico Chad Shari Allen of Clovis, New Mexico one daughter: Tabatha Paul Rutherford of White Sands, New Mexico One brother: Glen Allen of Santa Fe, New Mexico ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both parents, a step father, Harry Talley one sister: Virginia Clovis Graham two brothers: Freddie Allen and Jerry Wayne Allen and his three dogs: Penelope I, Penelope II, and Dudley.

Visitation is scheduled to be Tuesday, July 16, 2013 and Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 8am8pm at SteedTodd Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 10:00am at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary D. Mitchell officiating. Cremation to take place following services.
