Raymond Mccall

Raymond Ray Eugene McCall, 63, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Ray was born on September 5, 1949 to John W. and Florence Gollihar McCall in Roswell, New Mexico. He grew up in the Hatch and Las Cruces area and then became a long time Clovis resident. He married Barbara McLaughlin on November 6, 2002 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Ray was a welder most of his life. He was a self employed welder for many years in the Clovis area. He enjoyed the outdoors, from fishing to building things. He loved his dogs. He enjoyed helping others and most of all he loved his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

Ray is survived by his wife Barbara McCall of the home two daughters, Marsha Segura of Clovis, NM, Dawn McCall of Clovis, NM one son, Allen McCall of Las Cruces, NM two stepdaughters, April Sharp of Texico, NM, Candace Mitch Horton of Las Cruces, NM three stepsons, Rocky MelissaSharp of Portales, NM, Ricky Starla Sharp of Melrose, NM, Ryan Sharp of Farwell, TX fourteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, John W. and Florence McCall.

Services for Ray will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in the SteedTodd Chapel with Garland Hughes, officiating. Burial will follow in the Texico Cemetery, Texico, NM. Casket bearers will be Randy Segura, Earl Mitchell, Ricky Sharp, Ryan Sharp, Mitch Horton, and Brady Herrington.
