Richard Sharrar

Richard H. Sharrar, age 64 of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on August 25, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Richard was born on October 10, 1948 to Leonard and Mary Jane Etzel Sharrar in Dayton, Ohio. Richard had numerous jobs including working at Allsups, Family Dollar, Hobby Lobby and Safe Ride. He served in the United States Air Force for twentytwo and onehalf years. Richard liked to do leather work and he collected Native American art and record albums. He had a keen sense of trivia. He was a disciple of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clovis, New Mexico. He married Susan Kinman on April 25, 2013 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Richard is survived by his wife: Susan Sharrar of Clovis, New Mexico Susans daughter: Savannah Greene and Susans son: Brayden Kinman, both of Clovis, New Mexico one son: Heath Sharrar of South Carolina two daughters: Margarete Sharrar and Janeen Sharrar, both of New Mexico two brothers: Clifford Sharrar of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kevin Sharrar of Lamar, Colorado and special friends: Ted and Mimi Mudgett, Jane and David Ford, Rusty and Wendy Poole and Bonita and Kevin Knox, all of Clovis, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation is from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013 with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at SteedTodd Funeral Home in Clovis, New Mexico. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico with Bonita Knox officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico. Military Honors will be provided by Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard. A luncheon will be served at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1705 W. 21st Street, Clovis, New Mexico.
