Richard Eugene Turner of Canyon, Texas and formally of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Palo Duro Nursing Home in Claude, Texas.

Richard was born on May 3, 1944 to Margie and Jack Turner in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a truck driver and enjoyed working on computers, dancing and music. Richard was loved by all of his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his dad: Gerald Stringer one brother: Raymond Turner four daughters: Stephanie Caster, Lisa Riley, Jana Lynn Zeman Glenn and Natalee Ladean Turner one son: James Allmand eight grandchildren: Michael Riley, Jared Riley, Rayden Caster, Ramsey Caster, Scott Laura Spear, Cassie Allmand, Timmy Allmand and Christopher Allmand five great grandchildren: Michael Spear, Aurora Spear, Jennifer Spear, Cayden Riley and Mackenzie Riley five aunts: Dorothy Smith, Althea Mann, Nadine Anson, Cleta Nutt and Jean Workheiser.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Stringer his father: Jack Turner and one granddaughter: Brooklyn Caster.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at SteedTodd Chapel, 800 E. Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101 with Pastor Kenneth Dunsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis, New Mexico. Casket Bearers are Jared Riley, Michael Riley, Bobby Anson, Eddie Workheiser, Vester Nutt and Larry Anson. Honorary Casket Bearers are Floyd Workheiser, Kenneth Workheiser, Donnie Nutt, Jacky Nutt, Rayden Caster and Ramsey Caster
