Ricky Leclear

Ricky Fredrick LeClear Sr., 44, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Friday, May 16, 2008, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. He was born April 9, 1964 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Eugene and Mary Gras LeClear.

He joined the Army and served for two years, then returned to Clovis. He worked for A M Steel Building as a supervisor for 10 years. He moved to Renova, Pennsylvania, where he worked for the railroad. When he moved back to Clovis, he worked for Sunland Peanuts and later for Kwik Lube. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and family gatherings. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Pauline LeClear and 2 sons, Ricky LeClear Jr. and Tyler LeClear all of North Platt, Nebraska; his parents, Eugene LeClear of Clovis and Mary Willis of Clovis; 3 brothers, Randy LeClear Sr. Sherri of Portales, New Mexico; Brian LeClear and Eugene LeClear Jr. both of Clovis; 1 sister, Susanna Lea of Clovis; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; 5 nieces, Bridgette Pyle, Jennifer LeClear, Shannan LeClear, April Bisig and Madison Pyle and 2 nephews, R. J. LeClear and Dustin Lea.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis with Rev. Bonita Knox officiating. Burial will follow at Portales Cemetery in Portales.

Casket bearers will be R. J. LeClear, Paul LeClear, Larry Stapp, Roger LeClear Jr., Howard McKneely, Johnny LeClear and Alan Bolstad. Honorary casket bearers will be uncles cousins.
