Robert Middleton

Robert Bob Middleton, 80, of Clovis, New Mexico died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at St. Anthony Healthcare in Clovis. He was born April 27, 1927 in Idalou, Texas to Donald Elsie Perkins Middleton.

He married Doris Jean Kirkpatrick January 5, 1948 in Borger, Texas. He had been a resident of Clovis since 1954 and owned and operated Bobs Supermarket for 25 years. He loved customizing cars. He was a member of 16th and Pile Church of Christ.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Tina Parmer Carl of Austin, Texas; 2 sons, Bill Middleton of Clovis and Michael Middleton Angela of Nashville, Tennessee and 4 grandchildren, Noel Shelly, Tiffany Shelly, Sara Shelly Jeremy Middleton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Steed-Todd Chapel with Cecil Bunch officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
