Robert Montoya

Robert Joseph Montoya, 51, passed away on Sunday December 22, 2024 at his home in Clovis, NM. He was born to Rosa Garcia - Montoya and Manuel Montoya in Clovis NM on December 30, 1972. He married the love of his life Rebecca Campos.

Robert loved playing his guitar and listening to heavy metal. He worked for Apex Collision Center where he was Forman. He loved working on cars

Robert is survived by his wife Rebecca of the home, his parents Rosa Garcia-Montoya, Manuel Montoya, one brother Christopher Montoya, one nephew Julian Montoya and one niece Starla Montoya both of Fulerton California, three step sons Brandon, Mares (Naomi), of Clovis, NM, Nathan Mares (Baronica) of Wichita Falls, Tx, Warren Mares (Amanda) of Wichita Falls TX, his in-laws Mary Campos and Daniel Perez of Clovis, NM, eight step grandchildren, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Saria, Ethan, Aaliyah, Elijah, Messiah and Azaria, and a special niece Isabel "Roni" Quinteros, brother in law Larry Campos (Sonia), and Sister in law Michelle Salazar (Paul) of Portland Oregon, and so many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pedro Montoya and Rose Garcia and Maternal grandparents Bonificio and Frances Garcia, and a special Friend "Dannette".

Pallbearers will be Larry Campos, Chuy Chairez, Nathan Mares, Brandon Mares, Joel Ortiz, Paul Salazar, Sergio Marin, and Tyler Romero.

He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
