Robert Williams

Robert Dell Williams, age 60, of Clovis New Mexico, passed away on November 30, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday December 4, 2015 at Steed Todd Funeral Home with John Combs of Portales New Mexico, officiating. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery.

Robert Dell Williams was born in Clovis New Mexico to Curtis and Cora Cox on November 9, 1955 and adopted by Robert Edward Williams and Trudie Maude Williams on November 9, 1958. He went to school in Clovis New Mexico. He married Twila Danese Williams on August 18, 1989 in Portales New Mexico. He Graduated from Clovis Community College. Robert worked as a Detention Officer for Curry County Adult Detention Center for 15 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the New Mexico Army National Guard and he was awarded numerous medals while serving his country.

Robert Dell Williams is preceded in death by his adopted parents Robert and Trudie Williams and his biological parents Curtis and Cora Cox.

Robert Dell Williams is survived by his wife Twila Williams, his children Sarah and Jared Free and Brandon and Mariah Boyles, his grandchildren Tara Free, Jaylee Free, Noah Bridgman, Julie Free, Tucker Boyles and his namesake Lincoln Dell Boyles, his 4 sisters and 6 brothers Pam Schuch, Elizabeth McReynolds, Cindy Hays, Christopher Cox, Thomas Cox, Myron Cox, Andrew Cox, Amanda Thornton, John Cox, and James Cox, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Boyles, Johnny Boyles, Adrain Boyles, Buddy Boyles, Tell Collier, and Rick Thornton.
