Roberta Headlee

Roberta Lee Headlee was born on February 5, 1925, to the home of Juanita and Bill Nelson in Woodward, Oklahoma. She entered into rest on September 16, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Roberta married David Raymond Headlee on November 28, 1947 and moved to Clovis, New Mexico. She worked at the Hotel Clovis until she had her first child, and after that she became a stay at home mother and wife.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Bill Nelson; her husband, David Headlee; four sons, Melvin LeRoy, Gerald Ray, Carl Dean, and a baby boy that was never named; two sisters, Lorena (Leo) McDaniel and Wanda (Bruce) Haney.

Roberta is survived by her daughter, Linda Lawson; granddaughter, Pamela (Paul) Maes; grandsons, David Patrick Sr., Timothy Headlee; and two great grandsons, David Patrick Jr. and Zane Headlee.

Visitation is on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 9:00am to 8:00pm. A Celebration of Life service will be in the Steed Todd Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00pm.
