On January 11, 2020, an American hero passed away. Chief Master Sergeant Robert (Bob) D. Miller, USAF retired, went home to be with his Lord, wife Pat, and sons Robert Jr. and Steve.
Bob was born in Washington Court House, Ohio to adoring parents Earl Miller and Reva Meadows on August 2, 1923. He married the love of his life, Patsy Ruth Haws, on August 14, 1947 in Clay Center, KS.
Bob enjoyed fishing, golf, and playing cards. Mr. Miller was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Bob enlisted when he was 17 and served a total of 31 years in the military in loyal service to his country. He served in World War II and in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was highly decorated and bravely fought for this country which he loved. After retirement, he worked for Triangle Home Builders, and Shipley's furniture and very much enjoyed his work.
Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat; and his sons, Robert Jr. and Steve.
Bob is survived by his youngest son, David, of Burbank, CA; his granddaughters, Stephanie Titus and Michelle Miller; and his grandson, Bob Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 9:00 AM at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
