In Loving Memory of Rodney Michael Lusk

Rodney Michael Lusk was called home to his Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Friday, April 11, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1946, to his devoted parents, Julian Dennis (J.D.) and Kathleen Ison Lusk.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Kathleen; his beloved wife, Anna Lusk; his eldest brother, Dennis Lusk; and his youngest brother, Roger Lusk.

He is lovingly remembered by his brother Tim Lusk (Jerri) of Aurora, CO; sister Robin Thomas (Bill) of Amarillo, TX; cousins James Doyal (Estella) of Lubbock, TX, and Randa Smith Bolton (Dean) of Phoenix, AZ; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In his final years, Michael bravely battled cancer while residing at Wheatfields Estates, where he was cared for with great compassion and developed many cherished friendships.

Michael was deeply devoted to his faith and was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Clovis. His church family meant the world to him. He found joy singing in the choir and participating in various volunteer activities.

A casual memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1601 East Llano Estacado Blvd., with Pastor Michael Kirby officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael's life.

In honor of Michael's love for animals, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite animal charity or to Central Baptist Church.
