Ronnie Joe Harvey, 72, of Clovis, New Mexico, Passed away on November 1, 2016, at UMC Hospital in Lubbock, Tx. with his loving wife and family by his side.

No visitation per his request.

No funeral services per his request. He will be cremated, and his ashes spread by his wife, children, and grandchildren at a later date.

Joe was born in Clovis, New Mexico to Ernest and Myrtle Harvey on February 23, 1944. He attended school in Lefors, Tx and later received his GED at Clovis Community College. He married Kathyrn Ann Whinery on December 30, 1964, in Clovis, NM.

Joe loved being a truck driver. He was self-employed before Working for AMPI. He loved being out on the family farm in Pampa, Tx for harvest with all his cousins and family. Joe also loved being outside in his garden or swinging with Kathy under the tree. He loved being outside in his shop working on old motors or just tinkering on things. He enjoyed going to garage sales with his granddaughter. His favorite place was Cooks for coffee with his friends. He loved watching Price is Right or old Westerns with his family all piled in his bed laughing and drinking coffee. He also loved going to the mountains with his kids, grandkids, and family. Anybody who knew Joe knew he had a one-of-a-kind laugh. He told stories like no other. He loved being a Papa.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Myrtle Harvey, Brothers Dub and Belverd Harvey, Sister Becky Harvey, and many other loved ones.

Joe is survived by his wife Kathy Harvey, daughters Cynthia Finn, Niecy (Doug) Hollingshead, Sons Bo Harvey, David (Tasha) Harvey all of clovis.

Brothers, Shorty (Jana) Harvey, Gary Harvey, both of Clovis, NM, Glendon (Dorthi) Harvey of Pinebluff, Arkansas, Ricky (Debbie) Harvey, Cheryl Cates both of Alamogordo, NM.

Grandchildren Joy Hughes, Jay Finn, Kayden and Kyler Harvey, Jeff (Chasity) Hollingshead and kids

And numerous other loved ones.

The family of Joe Harvey would like to thank those who visited him in the hospital and helped the family with food and supplies.
