Rosalyn Lee

Rosalyn R. Lee passed away Friday August 24, 2012, in Waxahachie, TX. She was born at home in Cunningham, TX, May 14, 1941, to Hubert and Pauline Swindell Hume. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry James Lee her brothers, James Hume, Royce Hume, and William Wimpy Hume. She is survived by her children, Shannon Lee of Midland, TX, James Sean Lee and his wife Phyllis, of Waxahachie, TX, and Jolene LeeWishert, of Midland, TX grandchildren, Michaela Lee, Ethan and Sadie Lee, her sister Joyce and her husband Raymond Brown, of Ft. Sumner, NM, sisterinlaws Wanda Hume and Nancy Hume, of Marietta, OK, and many nieces and nephews.
Rosalyn grew up in East Texas, around Paris, until moving to West Texas and Eastern New Mexico in her teen years. She worked at many places in the 50 yrs she lived in Clovis, the last being working in the cafeteria at Gattis Jr. High until she retired. Due to a decline in health, she had moved to Waxahachie to live with her son a few years ago.
Rosalyn requested that she be cremated and her ashes be placed next to her mothers grave in Cunningham, TX. A memorial will be held at SteedTodd chapel on Sept 1, 2012, at 3:00 pm. A graveside service for the family to place her ashes, will be held at a later date.
