Roy “Jim” DeBow Sr.
Jim DeBow, 77 of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away on 18 Sep 2023 in Clovis, NM.
Memorial Service will be at the Lawn Haven Cemetery on 25 Sep @ 10:00 am.
Jim DeBow was born in Hobart to Alfred and Dorothy DeBow, and he was married to Catalina DeBow.
Jim was a simple man with an easy-going personality. He was passionate about his family, working on cars, his little dog Jett, and most of all teaching and mentoring anyone who would listen about cars. Jim is a retired USAF Veteran, and his last assignment was at the 27th Transportation Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico in 1984. After his military career, he held various automotive industry positions both domestic and abroad. His last position was as a Cannon AFB Auto Skills Center technician, and he loved working there. During his tenure, he was able to assist and mentor a multitude of customers with all types of automotive issues, and he even held training classes for junior students.
Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife, Catalina DeBow.
Jim is survived by his three children, Josephine Roldan (Marcus), AnaMarie Padilla (Israel), Roy DeBow Jr. (Christine), and six grandchildren (Elissa Herbert, Cassandra Padilla, Jennifer Padilla, Christopher DeBow, Daniel Valdez, and Myles DeBow), and nine beautiful great-grandchildren.
The entire DeBow family would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who loved Jim DeBow and the Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center staff.
