Royce Love

Royce Gene Love, age 83, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis, NM. Royce was born on April 14, 1928 in Lovington, NM to Alvis and Mary Kagan Love. He was raised in Lovington, NM and went onto serve in the U.S. Army. He was in the Battalion which was in charge of processing soldiers during WWII in Japan. He married Loma Simpson Love on July 1, 1951 in Lovington, NM after she preceded him in death in 1998 he then married Coleta Ham on January 10, 2000. Royce was a 32 degree Mason and he worked as a Barber and owned his own Barber Shop. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Charlies Angel Sunday School Class. He also enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Love is is survived by his wife Coleta Love two daughters, Chrystal Porter and her husband David and their daughter Katie Gist of Albuquerque, NM, and Lori Hagen and her son, Tyler Jon Hagen of Midland, TX one son, Gary Popplewell and his wife Martha of Alamagordo, NM and their children, Tyler Popplewell, Page Popplewell, and a great grandson Gunner Popplewell all of Arlington, TX.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Loma Love, and his parents, Alvis and Mary Love.

Services for Royce will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Alan McAlister, officiating. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Honorary Casket Bearers will be all the Charlies Angels Sunday School Class.
